# Vault

The Vault is used for storing OneRIC. The OneRIC is freed after a certain block time has passed.

The vault is mainly used to store OneRIC after a reward was claimed.

To manually lock OneRIC for long term hodling, type the amount and how much blocks it should be locked for. Click **approve** , then **lock**. 

After the blocks have passed, the tokens can be released via the Release button.
